Goodness, it has been so fun to see these two girls as they have grown this past year! I met up with this adorable family for the third session of baby girl’s First Year Collective on one of our very warm Fall evenings in Round Rock. For this family session, we met at one of my favorite spots to celebrate baby girl’s 6 month milestone!

While many sitter milestone sessions take place at my studio, Mama loved her field maternity session and decided to go with a similar look since these portraits were doubling as their Fall family photos. Despite teething woes, baby girl was just adorable. I could not believe how much she had changed from her previous session. I mean… those cheeks!! If you saw their newborn session, you already know how wonderful big sister is with her little sister. For this 6 month milestone family session, big sis was no different! It was such a joy to document that bond again, especially now that they could cuddle up together on the blanket. It’s crazy to think the next time I see this crew, baby girl will be one!

Session Prep & Wardrobe Styling for multiple sessions

At Mama’s styling appointment, we put together wardrobe options for everyone in the family. Even though this was their third session, there were many new options to choose from! I also find these appointments are so helpful for Collective clients to ensure each of your sessions coordinate well for album and wall designs.

As you can see in all of this family’s sessions so far, the common color is light pink! Having one color you stick with (even if it’s just in a floral detail) helps to make sure all of your sessions complement each other. Most people don’t think of that, but it really does make a big difference when printing your images.

Mama also got pampered prior to the session with professional hair and makeup.
