As a busy Mom of two and a photographer specializing in Austin baby photography, understanding the challenges of being in photos with my kids has shaped how I built my business.

It truly feels like we’ve come full circle when I see my own kids looking at our family albums! I love to flip through images of my own grandparents from their wedding day and our time traveling throughout my childhood. These, too, have influenced my business in so many ways! I just adored seeing these photos as a kid at my grandma’s house.

The sad reality is that over time these old portraits will fade. They weren’t made to last forever like the prints and albums we have access to now.

Thats why I’m proud of the luxury client experience I have designed for busy Mamas. In the end, my clients will be able to walk away with timeless heirlooms that can be passed down to their children and grandchildren someday. Not just a hard drive full of images that will be forgotten.

So many Mamas scroll through the images on their phones without even realizing the enormous value in seeing them in print each day.

Building your Custom Album | Baby Photography in Austin

That is where a custom-designed album comes in. Albums are there for you whenever your heart wants to relive these moments with your littles.

For my First Year Collective clients, we build their album throughout the year with portraits from each session. These are always my favorite because baby grows so fast in such a short amount of time! You can see their growth so beautifully as you flip through these albums.

But my absolute favorite way to preserve these memories for families though is a combination of frames and albums. Many families opt for framing their top favorites, then fill an album with the remaining portraits from their session.

Plus, some photos work better in albums anyway! Often the little detail shots and sweet candid moments are perfect additions to the album.
