Maybe it’s because we’re in Austin, but I have to laugh because everytime I post a photo of this sweet family I get messages about how they resemble Chip and Joanna Gaines! But truly, when I see these images I just think about is what a dream baby their sweet girl was for her session. I’m not sure which little details I loved most during this light and airy studio newborn session- baby girl’s full head of hair, long eyelashes, or how sleepy she was the whole time!

When I first met this family for their maternity session, it was clear how much love they have for one another and how excited they were to meet their baby girl. Seeing that love expand as they held their little miracle in their arms was such a joy. It’s also such a great reminder of why I love what I do so much. Before you know it all of those little details aren’t so little anymore. I know it’s cliche but its so true- babies don’t keep!

Light and Airy Photography | Studio Newborn Session

One of the many reasons I love my studio here in Austin, TX is because of all of natural light that comes streaming in. That beautiful light, combined with the right styling, helps to create classic portraits for my clients where the focus is front and center on baby, their precious details, and your family’s connection.

For this session, Mama chose two maxi dresses with soft shades of pink and florals from the SAP Client Wardrobe. The pink dress was one she actually wore during their maternity session! It’s always so fun to see the before and after photos when Mama wears the same dress in sessions. It’s just so incredible what women’s bodies can do, isn’t it?! We paired her dresses with khakis and neutral shirts on Dad plus blush pink and white wraps on baby. Mama also took advantage of complimentary professional hair and makeup for this session and looked absolutely stunning!

I cannot wait to see if baby keeps her gorgeous dark hair (just like Mama’s) as she grows. Keep scrolling for some major baby fever!
