I love being an Austin studio newborn photographer, and this session for this precious baby girl was such a blast. This tiny little one took a little while to settle down but gave us some of the sweetest poses! Mom even chose one of my favorite dresses from the SAP Client Wardrobe.

The client wardrobe is one of my favorite parts of the experience while planning your sessions as an Austin studio newborn photographer. Who doesn’t love shopping for gorgeous dresses and wardrobe staples with clients in mind? It’s certainly a perk of the gig!

Posing Baby

When it comes to posing your baby for their studio newborn session, there are a few things to keep in mind. For starters, safety and making sure your baby is comfortable is top of mind.

I will always ensure baby is secure and supported in any pose, and will usually settle right into a cozy nap while we document their precious details.

Secondly, it’s always essential for us to be patient and take our time as we work through the session. Babies can be unpredictable at times, so we always take our time with posing.

I will also always ensure posing feels natural and unfussy. This ensures your images will be timeless and never overly trendy. That way, you can cherish these images for years to come.

Utilizing the studio space also offers such a beautiful consistency. I’m so excited to photograph this precious girl again for her first milestone session soon.

After her newborn session, Mom and Dad decided to become Collective members, which means I’ll be seeing this little one two more times before her first birthday!
