This Austin greenhouse and one-year cake smash session was the most fun. I loved utilizing both the studio and this gorgeous space for this family!

The Cake Smash Session

For the first part of this session for sweet Maggie, we started at the studio for her cake smash. I can’t believe she’s already a year old, and I feel like time has flown by since her newborn session.

The one-year milestone always includes a cake smash if you’re a collective client, so we ended Maggie’s session by celebrating her first year and a spot of cake!

We also took advantage of being in the studio by planning for the second part of our session. Mom and I had a styling session to ensure the whole family looked and felt their best for part two. I loved the shades of creams and blues we chose.

Austin Greenhouse Session

We went to a gorgeous greenhouse in the area for the second half of Maggie’s one-year milestone session. This greenhouse is so typical for Austin, and it was such a gorgeous location for this family session. The lighting was stunning, and the location allowed for plenty of room to spread out and explore. There were some beautiful spots both inside and outside the greenhouse!

I love that they included their whole crew for baby girl’s milestone session. These sisters had the sweetest bond, and the portraits of the three of them together were some of my favorites from the session. Baby Maggie was happiest when snuggled, but also really loved having the opportunity to show off her new skills in learning to walk.

It’s been fun watching this family grow. I can hardly believe how grown their first two daughters are. It’s been such a joy getting to know them and creating beautiful portraits with the five of them!
