Family Sessions in the Studio

I love family studio sessions for many reasons, but most of all, I love the candid, intimate moments that can be documented in one convenient location. I wouldn’t trade having a studio space for anything as a motherhood and newborn photographer.

Ease of Location

I also love the ease of location the studio provides. We don’t have to worry as much about inclement weather, especially in the summer when storms often blow through in the afternoon. It’s the perfect controlled environment for teens or busy toddlers. Plus, it’s an easy distance from some of my favorite outdoor session locations in Austin.

A Clean, Cohesive Aesthetic

Opting to have your session in the studio also offers a timeless and classic aesthetic in your final portraits. Any session from newborn to milestones is consistent and can flow beautifully together with any custom artwork.

For this session, we opted for a mix of posed family portraits as well as more laid-back, unposed moments. I love the combination of more playful images with more formal photos of their whole crew!
