I loved every minute of this Austin newborn session for this precious family. I was so thrilled to see these three again (even if a little earlier than expected) for the next session of their Collective. Their baby girl was just the sweetest and a dream to photograph.

An Early Appearance

Soon after their maternity session, this sweet girl decided she was ready to make her grand entrance into the world. After giving mom and baby a few weeks to recover and rest, we got the three of them into the studio for her newborn session.

If you’ve ever wondered why I structure my calendar the way I do, this is a prime example. Each month, I take a limited number of newborn sessions to be available and flexible for each client when needed. If you’re a parent already, you know that sometimes, things don’t always go as planned.

Babies are unpredictable. Some come early or even a little later than expected. Sometimes recovery is extra challenging for Mom, and having this flexibility allows my clients to have the best experience without having to stress about hitting the mark for newborn sessions.

By keeping a limited number of sessions available each month, I can better serve my clients in a calm and stress-free way!

When to Book Your Austin Newborn Session

If you’re wondering when to book your newborn session, I always recommend early in your second trimester. This gives us plenty of time to plan and also allows a bit of wiggle room pending something comes up. Life happens, but by preparing early, we can make sure everything is taken care of and checked off your list with plenty of time before baby’s arrival.
