So excited to be sharing one of the sweetest families I get to work with. One of the things this Mama mentioned to me before our first session together is how much they adore candid portraits of the family. So for this family photoshoot near Cedar Park we had LOTS of playtime with their sweet boys!

We really encouraged the two brothers to have fun and got lots of giggles. They especially loved the “parachute” game running under the blanket! Little brother did have a meltdown during our session, so we took a little break and kept moving around trying to keep him entertained. At the ordering appointment, mom was surprised how many images her gallery had despite an upset toddler. As a photographer, I keep clicking my camera regardless of what is happening because sometimes I find a moment that is so sweet even in the middle of a meltdown.

It was so much fun to see how much they had grown since little brother’s first birthday studio family session. I am also lucky that I get to see them each year for my Santa sessions, too! For this field session, we met at one of my favorite family photoshoot locations near Cedar Park. It was a sunny Spring evening with just the right amount of breeze! I love this location because its so close to Austin, but has so much open space for kids to run around and play.

Another priority was getting Mama in the images with her sweet kiddos! Once we had some beautiful portraits of the immediate family, the grandparents hopped in for some! This felt really special to be able to document for them. After such a trying year spent at a distance from loved ones, it was beautiful to document their arms around one another.

Mom wore a beautiful white midi dress with the prettiest off shoulder sleeves from the client wardrobe. Doesn’t it look so stunning on her?! She was also pampered with professional hair and makeup, which is included in each of my sessions! This worked out perfectly with the heat- Mama looked flawless from start to finish!

After their session, we met for their reveal appointment where Mom and Dad chose to order four custom frames for a gallery wall that include images from both of their family sessions! Once delivered, I will help them with install so they won’t have a to lift a finger!

I cannot wait to see their finished artwork on their walls. There are so many cuddles and fun candids that really show all of their personalities!
