Goodness, this session is one of the reasons the 6 month milestone is one of my favorites to document! This sweet family joined me for their third session at my photography studio near Cedar Park for baby girl’s sitter session, and she brought all of the personality!

Listen Mama, I know this might seem like an easy milestone to overlook between newborn and one year sessions. But, I promise you will not regret a sitter session!

6 Month Sitter and Family Photography | Cedar Park, TX

Babies go through so many developmental milestones around the 6 month mark. Sitting up, grabbing their toes, and showing off their personality just to name a few! In fact, some (like this sweet girl!) learn to crawl early too. Ideally I like to schedule sitter sessions before they are mobile but she happened to start crawling the week of their session, so we rolled with it!

For milestone sessions I always encourage the family to join baby for portraits, but baby girl definitely stole the show. It’s impossible not to smile looking at her big grin!

We let her show off her newfound sitting (and crawling) skills, and her face just lit up! It’s hard to believe how much she’s grown since I last saw her!

This family is part of the First Year Collective, so we’ve already met in studio for their maternity session and newborn session. Next is her one year session! It goes by so quickly, I’m so thankful to be able to document these milestones for them!

As the year goes on we’ll continue to add to their custom first year album. I am also designing a 6-piece wall gallery using images from each of their sessions! They each compliment each other so well, I cannot wait until install to see it all come together!
