One of the best parts about being a newborn photographer in Austin, TX is meeting so many wonderful families who I have so much in common with. This family was no exception- we immediately bonded over our love for our alma mater (hook ’em horns!) and realized we had several mutual friends. When I photographed their maternity session I knew I wanted to make the client experience for them special.

Being pregnant during a pandemic isn’t easy, so I am glad I was able to make each of their sessions a completely stress-free experience. As a mom myself I remember the stress of getting ready with a newborn! That is why I love personalizing sessions for new parents. Finding something to wear during that postpartum stage can be tricky, so I have a carefully curated wardrobe that will photograph well and compliment mamas in every stage of motherhood.

For this session Mama chose a classic Show Me Your Mumu maxi dress from my Client Wardrobe. The color was so beautiful on her! My hair and makeup artist, Anupi, also met us again at the studio to help me pamper her!

And this baby girl- could she get any sweeter?! It was so exciting to finally meet her during her studio newborn session. She slept so well. I still cannot get over her beautiful hair and lashes! I love to document those little newborn details as an Austin newborn photographer.

Your session should be about more than just delivering photos

As a SAP First Year Collective Member, this sweet family received custom-designed birth announcements from this session. Besides getting started on their first year album, I also helped them select stunning framed, fine art prints for grandparents as gifts.

Once they are moved into their new home, I’ll be able to create a custom gallery wall design for them too!
