Between the styling, pretty florals in my studio, and a couple who are clearly so excited for their first baby- this session was a dream to document as an Austin maternity photographer. Documenting the anticipation for baby girl and the connection between these two was such a joy.

Each of my sessions are truly customized to each family and I love that it gives me the opportunity to get to know the families I work with.

As a SAP First Year Collective Member, I get to see this sweet family for two more sessions after this! I cannot explain how fun it is to see baby grow from behind my lens. It’s even more special after the year many expecting parents have had.

Because of the pandemic, this sweet Mama was unable to celebrate with a baby shower and missed seeing family as her bump grew. It’s a hard to show off your bump when you can’t go anywhere, so it was really important to me to make this session a wonderful experience for her.

Mama worked with my hair and makeup artist to create this soft, but glamorous look and looked absolutely stunning! Serious hair goals.

We also selected three of my favorite dresses from my Client Wardrobe. The first dress is a luxurious hand-made maxi dress from Bali. It was so perfect! I loved pairing it with Dad’s suit before they changed into a more casual look.

And even though we still have three more sessions planned in their First Year Collective, I am already working on their first year album!
