Maternity sessions with siblings are always some of my favorites in the studio, but they have been extra special for me to document during the pandemic. For most expecting Mamas their pregnancies have been anything but normal this year so pampering Mama (and an older sibling like this sweet girl!) during a maternity session has been such a joy.

This family was just as sweet as can be – there was so much excitement for baby brother at this session.

Mom looked absolutely beautiful in this lace maternity dress from the Client Wardrobe. She was 37 weeks at this session, can you believe that?! I know I couldn’t! She looked fabulous. I’m so glad we were able to fit their maternity photoshoot in.

But while Mom was glowing, big sis may have been the star of the show.

I still cannot get over how adorable she was hugging Mama’s bump! For this session, we had a lot of playtime to keep big sis entertained. As a Mom myself I know toddlers’ attention spans are short, so some playtime like airplane and piggyback rides kept her entertained!

We had a lot of laughs (because, toddlers!), and some fun Daddy and daughter play time.

Big sis was so full of personality and just had the sweetest connection with Dad. You could tell she was so excited for a sibling because her face just lit up when you asked her about the baby.

Just a few short weeks later I was able to meet baby for their newborn session. I cannot wait to share! Using images from both sessions, I designed an album of their favorite images and two smaller albums for Grandparents.
