I can’t think of a better way to officially welcome the start of a new season than sharing this beautiful milestone session with Texas Bluebonnets blooming all around. Bluebonnets are such a quintessential piece of the spring landscape in Austin this time of year, and I was overjoyed when this sweet family decided on an outdoor family session to celebrate their precious little.

A Milestone Session with Texas Bluebonnets

These four are part of my First Year Collective membership, so we’ve done this a time or two. This was the second session of their collective! Baby girl is six months old, and we had the best time celebrating her little life together with a portrait session.

There are so many changes with this precious girl in just six short months! Sadly, we had to reschedule a few times because of the weather, but I’m so grateful for some of the most wonderful clients who are up for being a bit more flexible during the spring months. Spring always has plenty of rain here, but we got lucky this day and had the perfect t weather and a beautiful blue sky.

Big sister loved twirling through the field, and Mom chose the perfect dress for her for the occasion from the SAP Client Closet! She paired it with the cutest pink jumper to match Mama’s pale pink dress. Baby girl wore a matching floral print outfit (also from the SAP Client Closet) with the most adorable ruffled sleeves. I also loved the colors Dad chose for his look. The green was such a nice balance, and I love how everything came together!

From this session, we will be adding to baby girl’s first-year album. They’re also planning to add to their growing gallery wall. I’m so excited for install day and can’t wait to share more from this collection as their family grows!
