Outdoor Sessions in the Spring

One of my favorite times as a photographer in the spring is outdoor family sessions. The weather here in Austin is so enjoyable during the spring months, just before the summer heat kicks in. It’s the perfect time to schedule your yearly family photos!

So many families default to planning their Christmas card photos in the Fall, but Spring sessions are just as ideal. As the days get longer, I love taking my clients to some of my favorite local spots. The wildflowers are starting to bloom, and everything is turning green and lush again. Your Christmas card photos don’t always have to be cute layers and changing leaves. While those are fun, and I love Fall layers, Spring sessions are just as wonderful.

Field Session with Twins

I met the Patel family at one of my favorite spots just before sunset on the day of their session. We had the best time chatting about their sweet little ones.

The twins have the sweetest relationship, and I loved seeing them together. Five is such a fun age, and it was so cute seeing how much they love each other.
