This studio newborn session with this precious baby boy was delightful. I shared their milestone session a few weeks ago and couldn’t let the opportunity pass without sharing this sweetness. Mom and Dad were completely in awe of him, and he was one of the snuggliest little ones.

Studio newborn sessions are some of my favorites to photograph, especially after moving to our new location. The light in this space is so beautiful in any weather and time of day. One of the perks of being a studio photographer is knowing how to find real estate with excellent light. Plus, it’s been such a joy welcoming you all into this space here in Austin.

The Perks of a Studio Newborn Session

Baby boy was an absolute dream, and he slept through most of his session. He still gave us so many sweet expressions, even while napping. After a particularly chaotic delivery and first doctor visit, this mama was so thrilled with how easy everything felt in the studio.

Giving you a relaxing, inviting environment is one of my favorite things about welcoming you into this space for your sessions.

Before your session, we will have already planned out our wardrobe for the whole family. My hair and makeup artists will give you time to soak in the moment. All you have to worry about is getting everyone here (fed and rested, please) is all you have to check off your list.

We always want to take our time with a session, especially for newborns. My approach is always to let the baby take the lead. A happy, content baby is always best. Going at their pace and taking breaks during the session is always a winning combination.
