This playful family studio session in Austin was so sweet. I love it when families get comfortable in the studio and just take the time to play together. Almost every image from this day reminds me of a snuggly Saturday morning at home.

There’s such an innocent playfulness at this age, and now Mom and Dad will have these memories to look back on when their little ones don’t climb into bed for snuggles first thing each morning.

This session was such a beautiful example of what it can look like when you embrace the chaos. At this age, your little ones are still so full of energy but a bit more predictable. Letting the moments unfold and finding the tender moments in between can be a bit easier.

Speaking of easier, we planned a styling appointment with Mom before this session to figure out what everyone would wear on our session’s day.

Like most moms, this mama mentioned she always stresses about what she will wear, so I was more than happy to help her take this off her plate. She was thrilled to see all the choices offered in the Client Closet and could take a deep breath knowing that this was crossed off her list! How cute is their daughter twirling in her sweet dress?

Our primary focus for your session isn’t always about the outcome. It’s also about ensuring your session’s day is full of ease and enjoyment. I don’t know about you, but I love looking back on these images and feeling the joy through the portraits. You can feel how at ease they all were!
