One of the things I love most about social media is the ability to connect with so many wonderful families, especially in those early days of the pandemic when we literally couldn’t connect anywhere else. This sweet Mama got in touch via Instagram when she was looking for family photography in Austin shortly after their twins were born.

And gosh, I’m so glad she did!!

More than a year later, I still think back to what a shock those first few months of the pandemic were to families. I am so very thankful for Mamas like this one who knew how important these portraits are of their babies. While they didn’t quite get the typical newborn session, I’d argue this one turned out even better!

I mean, who can resist these adorable smiles?! The girls were just shy of 4 months old at the time of our session. I find this age is great for showing off their tummy time skills!

It was such a joy working with this sweet family. Mom had professional hair and makeup in the studio prior to the session, so we had a chance to get to know each other more while she was pampered! I’m counting down the days until their first birthday session very soon!

After the Session | Austin Family Photography

After their session, Mom sent me the image below of the girls in the nursery next to one of their two custom-framed portraits from the session! I cannot get over those sweet smiles- they are just the happiest babies!

We also ordered a beautiful heirloom album for Mom and Dad plus two smaller, grandparent albums from the session. I am so thankful I could make the session process easy on this family!
