Being a baby photographer in Austin TX means that I get to photograph a lot of first time parents with their newborns. What might be even more special though is seeing them as their family grows again!

The last time I saw this sweet family was for Santa Portraits this past winter. Big brother has grown so much since then, so seeing him now as a big brother was such a joy.

Baby brother was born six weeks early, and as a Mama whose son was also born early, I know the struggles that come along with having a premie. To have that premie experience during a pandemic must have been such an emotional rollercoaster! You would never know it though because Mom was as calm as can be, just taking in these moments with her boys.

Baby was an absolute dream to photograph. In true energetic, toddler fashion big brother made us work a little for these sweet moments! I love how they came out though. His favorite trick was crossing his arms and pretending to be mad, then bursting in laughter!

As SAP First Year Collective members, this was the first of their sessions to document baby brother’s milestones this year. I’m so thankful that I’ll be able to see both of their sweet boys as they grow!
