We all had the most amazing time during these precious brothers’ studio session in Austin, Texas. They were the most entertaining, and it’s been such a treat watching them grow together over the years.

I have loved watching these sweet boys grow. There’s nothing sweeter than watching these SAP babies go from tiny newborns to wild and rambunctious little ones.

Parents often tell me that sessions can feel a little chaotic and busy with young kids. They often tell me ahead of time they are a little worried they won’t sit still long enough to catch anything good. I’ve even had a mom or two say, “Well, I hope you got something,” as we are exchanging our goodbyes.

Here’s the thing: I did. Promise! I always say, “Embrace the chaos” to clients both in the studio and before their sessions. Letting these little people truly be themselves makes for some of the greatest moments during your sessions. Parents, I promise we will always get the best mix of candid and posed moments during our time together. We will get some sweet moments because I am continuously shooting and trying to find the in-between moments as well to fully capture the feeling of your session.

And you will always be so grateful when looking back that we documented the silly moments, too. They’re usually some of my favorites from sessions.

This mom and dad were so happy to see all the sweet moments we documented from this milestone session for their two boys. We were all so excited to chat about how to display them in their home and finally decided on several gallery walls within their home. Why choose just one, especially when they’re so easy to add to over the years?
