I am so excited to share these maternity photos from my Austin, TX studio! Not only are these first time parents the kindest couple to work with, but they were also the first to use this new hand-painted backdrop for their photos!

Providing a unique option like this for families to add to studio sessions has been a dream of mine for years. This custom canvas is the perfect combination of pastel colors and soft texture. It also still allows the focus to be on the family- or in this case, a beautiful Mama and baby bump.

Originally I was going to save the backdrop of my recent Motherhood event. But after having to reschedule these studio maternity photos because of bad weather here in Austin, I thought this would be the perfect time to use it!

The colors were perfect and Mom looked so stunning in that pink maxi dress. I can just imagine these portraits displayed in baby girl’s nursery for years to come!

Being in the studio made this session incredibly easy for Mom and Dad. They could simply show up and soak in these moments together. It was really special seeing their excitement for baby.

On session day Mama joined me at the studio a little early for professional hair and makeup. I LOVE providing this services to expecting Mamas. It’s not everyday you get to be pampered like this during your pregnancy! Plus, each of the dresses this beautiful Mama-to-be wore were provided by the SAP client wardrobe.
