Sharing the sweetest studio newborn session in Austin with these first-time parents and their precious new baby this week. I loved having them in the studio, and we created some of the sweetest portraits of their new babe.

First Time Parents

It’s always a joy to see first-time parents bring their babies to the studio. The awe and wonder in their eyes over their first baby is something I so fondly remember from when my own babies were born. Even with the sleepless nights of the newborn days, you can’t help but “oooh” and “ahhh” over every new thing they do.

Mom and Dad were the absolute cutest with their new little one. Dad was the sweetest and couldn’t stop kissing baby. Seeing dad’s with their tiny new humans is always so special. Mom is an OBGYN, and she kept talking about her new perspective on everything as she welcomed her baby. Having a baby really does have a way of changing your perspective on so many things.

Baby boy was so sleepy for his newborn session and was such an easy baby to work with. He slept through the entire session and barely made a peep from start to finish.

He had a head full of the sweetest dark hair. We kept our styling simple and sweet with our colors and swaddles so his tiny features could shine. I still can’t get over how long his eyelashes were and his smooshie little lips.

Mom chose a gorgeous cream dress for the occasion, and dad kept things neutral with a textured, cream sweater. I love how their full wardrobe flowed, and their entire session came together!
