This outdoor maternity session in Austin was the sweetest. After their gender reveal session in the studio a few weeks before, it was a treat having these three (soon to be four) in front of my lens again. I was thrilled to continue documenting this new season of life for them!

Another Baby Girl

They recently discovered they would be adding another precious girl to the mix, and big sister was thrilled! You can see more of their session here on the Journal.

Since they’re Collective clients, I’ll enjoy seeing them a few more times this year once they welcome their sweet newborn. Mom and Dad wanted to be sure to document each stage of this journey, and choosing to do a Collective is an excellent way of doing so. By the end of our time together, they will have a beautiful heirloom album to treasure forever.

The Details

For this session, we decided to take things outdoors. The Texas summer was in full swing, but I’m so glad everyone could brave the heat to smile sweetly for the photos. The sun was so pretty throughout the entire session, and I loved how it kept peeking through the trees.

Mom looked so stunning in the dress she chose from the Client Closet. She didn’t want to stick to “gender norm” colors and picked a blue dress even though they’re having a girl. It was a perfect choice! Big Sister wore the most adorable jumper in a pretty shade of blue, and Dad chose a classic neutral look.

This family is so excited to welcome their new baby, and I’m thrilled to help them celebrate her arrival soon. I think Big Sister might be the most excited. I can’t wait to share more from this precious family as we continue documenting their Collective collection.
