I am so excited to share this sweet baby girl’s session with you! This new family of four joined me for baby girl’s newborn photography in my Austin studio shortly after she was born. This was a much anticipated moment- especially for Mama after a difficult pregnancy. It also happened to be close to big sister’s second birthday so all the more reason to celebrate!

After I completed baby’s solo photos, I asked big sister to join her for some portraits. With toddlers, you never really know how they will react with a new sibling. Sometimes I have to use all of the tricks up my sleeves to get them engaged. But gosh, these were some of the sweetest moments that I’ve had the honor of photographing!!

I just adore seeing siblings during newborn sessions and this big sister nailed it! She couldn’t stop loving on baby sister- in between dancing to Hamilton music, that is!

While I photographed the two girls, Mama was finishing up with professional hair and makeup. Due to Mama’s bed rest during her pregnancy, we could not do an in person styling appointment, but she chose a stunning white lace maxi dress from the client wardrobe at our session. It was SO flattering on her and perfect for the studio. Borrowing from the wardrobe also meant it was a quick and easy outfit change before finally getting their portraits as a family of four!
